Hello Bulldog Families!
We had an amazing Winter Break with our family and friends, and hope all of you did as well. We will welcome our students back to school on Wednesday, January 7 this week.
As we begin the second semester, we want to remind everyone that every day matters. There are only 92 days left of this school year, and we ask that you be sure that you are prioritizing your child's attendance.
Weekly Agenda
Monday: No school for students and staff
Tuesday: No school for students, Teacher Planning Day, District Parent Survey Opens
Wednesday: Welcome Back Students!, School Choice Window Opens
📢 We Want to Hear from You! Pasco County Schools is committed to creating a positive and supportive learning environment for every student. Your voice plays a vital role in that mission. Take the District Family Survey by clicking this survey link.
Coming Soon: Next week, on Tuesday, our school will be on display as part of our Feeder Pattern Community Event. Please plan to join us at Sunlake High School on January 13 at 6:00 pm. We will have many students presenting and performing, and you can also explore the curriculum connections with our middle schools and high school. See the attached flyer, and we look forward to seeing you there.
Student Code of Conduct Reminder
Recently, there have been a few students who have used a wireless communication device, in violation of Florida State Statute and our district Code of Conduct. You can access the full Code of Conduct here. Please note that we are required to enforce this policy: Students who bring WCDs to school must ensure that they remain on silent mode and completely out of view for the entire school day. This is particularly important during state testing, as being in possession of such a device will cause a student's score to be invalidated.
Please read the following reminders, and share them with any family members who are coming to our campus.
Morning Car Rider Procedures
Please remember that to assist with morning traffic exiting our school parking lot, we will close the outside car lane early, and cars will need to merge into the one lane for the remainder of arrival. You can help by being prepared to merge AND kindly allowing other cars to merge as needed. As families get used to this procedure, the car line will move quicker, and you will wait less after dropping off your child. Please pay careful attention to keep the line moving AND to keep all of our students safe. Additional reminders are below:
Dismissal
Absences: Please be sure to report this through your parent portal. Instructions are available here 👉 www.pasco.k12.fl.us/attendance/absence
Please remind your Bulldog of our school expectations every day.
We love our families to visit our campus, and want to remind you that you must bring your ID every time. Help us keep our Bulldogs safe.
We look forward to seeing you this week!
With Bulldog Pride,
