Read-A-Thon Fundraiser – “Adventure Awaits in a Book”
We are happy to announce this year’s fundraiser and hope you will join us in Bexley’s 2nd annual Read-A-Thon! This fundraiser not only supports our school, but also supports each student’s personal reading development goal.
The best part is that the school keeps 100% of all donations! This fundraiser will support Classroom Resources, Positive Behavior Student & Administrative Incentives, and will contribute to our goal towards a second playground and shade structure.
How it works:
Make a pledge to encourage reading, and raise money for Bexley Elementary School. Students will have two weeks to collect pledges before a school wide reading event takes place on Friday, October 29th during their scheduled reading time. Students will read or be read to for a total of 60 minutes.
Two ways to Make a Pledge:
1. Flat donation – You can sponsor a student with a flat amount. If you pledge a flat donation of $25, no matter how much the student reads you will owe $25.
2. Pledge per minute – You can pledge an amount for minutes read.
