Hello Bexley Families,

This week is already the middle of quarter 2 and your child will receive his/her Q2 progress report at the end of the week! We are already so proud of the effort and progress that our Bulldogs are making and we want to THANK YOU for your support and partnership. Please remember that if you have any questions or concerns, our door is always open to support a positive school year.

This week we honor our veterans starting tomorrow night when our 2nd graders perform in the veteran’s day concert at River Ridge Performing Arts Center.  We can’t wait to see our 2nd graders share their musical talent tomorrow night! In honor of veteran’s day, all students also had the opportunity to have their art showcased in the veteran’s display at Starkey K8. Our students will be watching the veteran’s day district program on Friday to learn and support honoring those that fought for our freedom. If you are a veteran, on behalf of our Bulldog family, we say thank you for your service.

On Tuesday, between 10:30am-9:00pm, order from Panda Express and use the code on our flyer, or visit the restaurant, to support Bexley and our new partnership with this new community restaurant.

This Friday, our Scholastic Book Fair will begin and continue next week for students to visit and purchase books. This is a great opportunity to give the gift of reading as the holidays approach. Take a peek at the book fair flyer that comes home with your child.

Next week, our students will learn about career opportunities at our Great American Teach-In on November 17th. We will also have the RED OneBlood bus on our campus and it will be open to the community to give blood. You may register now to save your spot to give blood at the link on our Bexley Facebook page, BES PTO page, or the email that accompanies this phone call.  LINK: https://donor.oneblood.org/donor/schedules/drive_schedule/1281828

Looking ahead, mark your calendars for Thanksgiving Break. There will be no school Monday, 11/21 – Friday, 11/25. When we return, save the date for our Family STEM Night on Tuesday, 11/29 and our Winter Holidays in Whoville family event on Friday, December 2nd.  We can’t wait to continue to connect with you!

We look forward to seeing our Bulldogs, on time, tomorrow morning.
Believe. Engage. Succeed. Teamwork. Integrity. and Equity for every Bulldog, every day!
