Hello Bulldog Families,
This week our Bulldogs begin testing and we are confident that they will show what they have learned throughout this school year! We praise effort and improvement, always, so please help us do the same. Please remember to make sure your child is on time, rested, and has a healthy breakfast each morning.
This week also begins the Kid Heart Healthy Challenge fundraiser in PE. Our students will be participating in heart healthy activities and you can make a donation to the American Heart Association to support! Donations can be made online using the QR code on the flyer that went home or the web link provided by your child’s classroom teacher. Please feel free to reach out to your child’s teacher if you need help! Thanks in advance for supporting our heart healthy challenge!
This week our Girls on the Run girls will finish preparing for their first ever 5K! On Saturday, May 6th our girls will be running their 5K alongside their coaches and running buddies in downtown St. Pete. Our team will not only be representing Bexley, but they were chosen from the entire Tampa Bay council by our main sponsor, The Florida Dairy Council, as their ambassador team. We are so proud of the girls and want to give a huge shout out to our Girls on the Run coaches, Mrs. Parmenter, Mrs. Wright, Ms. Shellhammer, and volunteer Sandy VanStratt. This amazing accomplishment for our girls could not have happened without you!
Next week begins staff appreciation week! We are excited to offer a week full of treats for the most hard working teachers and staff around. This is a great time to also say a special thank you to your child’s teacher and/or our staff.
Save the date for Panera Family Spirit Night on May 11th and our next All Pro Dads meeting of this school year on May 18th, at 8:30am, in our cafeteria. Our first meeting was a great success with almost 100 dads and Bulldogs. We hope to see that and more on May 18th starting at 8:30am.
The month of May is full of celebrating students. We are so proud of our Bulldogs and THANK YOU for your continued support.
