Hello Bulldog Families,
We hope everyone had a wonderful spring break and spent time with family and friends! Tomorrow is the first day of quarter 4 and even though spring is in the air, this is the most important time of the school year for our students and staff to finish strong!
This week we finish the rotations of our in-house Florida Aquarium field trip provided for all of our students; extended school day, chorus, and instrumental rehearsals resume, and Wednesday morning, starting at 8:30, we have our quarterly School Advisory Council meeting. Q3 report cards will also be released on March 28th in your parent portal. Don’t forget to check your portal and review your child’s report card that communicates your child’s progress in school. If you have any questions, please reach out to your child’s teacher and set us a time to meet to discuss your child’s progress, if you haven’t already done so. We look forward to getting back into the learning routine with our students starting tomorrow.
Next Monday, March 27th, at 6:00 we have our monthly PTO meeting. All are welcome to join with the last effort planning towards our spring carnival PTO sponsored family event and assist with planning how the PTO will continue to support our staff and students for the remainder of this school year.
Our annual spring carnival is Friday, March 31st from 6:00-8:00 and we can’t wait to see all of our families there. Advanced carnival tickets are available for purchase online starting today thru March 28th. You can find the QR code in the Bexley Bulletin (PTO newsletter), on our BES Facebook page, and on our BES PTO Facebook page. Our spring carnival is a rain or shine event and children 3 and up will require a wristband for entry. There will be games, bounce houses, music, vendors, food trucks, a silent auction, and a chance for your child to dunk some of our teachers or staff in the first ever Bexley dunk tank!
Lastly, we want to thank Mr. Petitt and Mr. Moon for hosting our All Prod Dads information session the week before spring break and also thank the dads that came out to get involved in our All Pro Dads chapter planning for Bexley. In April we will hold our first All Pro Dads meeting for all dads and their child(ren) to attend. Bexley dads, save the date for April 20th at 8:30am. We will have a light breakfast, an activity and a lot of fun for you and your child. We hope to see you there!
