Hello Bexley Bulldog Families,
We hope you had a fabulous Thanksgiving break and spent some quality time with family and friends!
This week we continue our student-focused learning as we complete the last 15 days of the first semester of the school year. Our students will engage in the middle of year FAST testing within this next three weeks, so we thank you for your support by making sure your child is in school from 9:40am-3:50pm each and every day. At the end of our testing window we will send more information about how to read your child’s state assessment reports.
This week we have several parent engagement events and we hope to see you there! First, on Tuesday night, starting at 6:00 we will host Family STEM Night. We will begin our night in the cafeteria and host breakout sessions around campus for you and your child to have fun with Science! Please don’t forget to RSVP and choose your sessions, using the QR code on the flyer that went home and/or is posted on our website and Facebook page. Next, on Thursday night, our 1st graders will perform in our holiday concert. All are welcome to get in the spirit of the season as our 1st graders perform. Lastly, our PTO has planned an amazing “Holidays in Whoville” family event on Friday night, beginning at 6:00PM. We hope you will bring your family and enjoy the magic of “Whoville” with us on Friday night.
We love seeing our families visit for lunch on Mondays and/or Thursdays at Bexley. Please remember if you are coming to eat lunch with your child, send a message to your child’s teacher so he/she can direct your child to meet you at the picnic tables for lunch.
This week, a new month begins and during the month of December we celebrate our school mission house of TEAMWORK! We appreciate your teamwork as our staff works hard each day to make learning a priority, relevant, and meaningful. Our door is open if you have any questions or concerns because you are the other half of our TEAM that makes Bexley the best place to learn.
