Hello Bexley Families,
Thank you to those that attended our Backyard Movie Night! It was a great success and so wonderful to see our Bexley families together.
Tomorrow is a teacher planning day and there is no school for students.
On Tuesday, we launch Science Showcase Week and have some fun dress up days for our Bulldogs to get in the spirit of Science! On Tuesday, dress up like a space explorer; on Wednesday is crazy hat or scientist hair day; Thursday wear a cool technology or coding t-shirt; and Friday dress like your favorite scientist superhero. Our primary students will be engaging in completing a science experiment as a class this week and our intermediate students will receive more information about designing their own science experiment or engineering design project with the chance of moving on to our school science showcase and even our district science showcase competition. Look for more information to go home this week!
On Tuesday night, take your family to Chicken Salad Chick, in Trinity, for dinner! Mention that you are from Bexley Elementary and a portion of sales will come back to our school.
On Thursday, starting at 4:30, our PTO will hold a general PTO meeting for members. We hope to see our PTO members there on Thursday after dismissal, in the Rec Center.
Looking ahead, save the date for November 2nd, as this is our next early release day. Students will be released at 1:50pm. November 2nd is also Chipotle Spirit Night. Anytime between 4:00-8:00, join us at Chipotle for dinner. This is a new PTO partnership and we hope to see you there!
