Hello Bexley Families,
I hope all of our Bexley mothers had a wonderful Mothers Day today!

This week our 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders continue to take the FSA. Tomorrow, our 5th graders take session 2 of the Math FSA. On Tuesday and Wednesday, our 3rd and 4th graders take session 1 & 2 of the Math FSA. Thursday and Friday will be make-up testing days and next Tuesday and Wednesday state testing is complete after our 5th graders take the Science FCAT. We are so proud of our Bulldogs as they have shown their very best each day. Please remember that you can help from home by making sure your child gets a good night sleep and eats a healthy breakfast if they do not have breakfast at school.

We will celebrate our staff for staff appreciation week the week of May 16th! We can’t wait to spoil them and show them our endless appreciation. Join in on the gratitude by following our BES Facebook page and the BES PTO Facebook page. It takes a village and we are so happy you are with us to show our staff that they are out of this world!

We look forward to celebrating our 5th graders at their promotion ceremonies being help in the evening next week on May 18th and May 19th. If you are the parent of a 5th grader, please check with your child’s teacher for the date that your child will be celebrated!

On the last day of school for students, May 25th, our students will have the opportunity to join in at our “carnival make-up day” thanks to our PTO, Pastor Moon, and other families that donated to make this happen for our Bulldogs. During the day there will be a few inflatables and popsicles for our students! Thank you to all that helped make this happen!

We continue to focus on learning during these last weeks of school. As always, we ask for your support by reminding your child that our Bulldog behavior expectations are still expected. End of year privileges may be taken away if students do not follow these expectations each day. We THANK YOU in advance for your support and encouragement to finish this school year STRONG! We look forward to seeing our Bulldogs, on time, tomorrow morning.

Believe. Engage. Succeed.
Every Bulldog, Every Day!
