Hello Bulldog Families,
March begins this week and our school year is flying by! We want to THANK YOU for all you do to support learning at Bexley. We pride ourselves on communication and hope these weekly messages help you to stay connected with us. We value and want your input and a parent survey will be posted on our website and Facebook page this week so you can provide us with ideas for improvement and success! In the email version of this message you will also have a link and QR code to scan and complete the parent survey. Thanks for your input!
We have 2 weeks until Spring Break and many opportunities for parents/families to connect with us. Save the date for March 9th when we will have TWO ways to get involved and join us.
First, we are so excited to bring an All Pro Dads chapter to Bexley! Thank you to two dads that offered to take on leading our chapter as we begin planning for this monthly at BES. If you are new to All Pro Dads and the monthly meetings offered at schools, please come to our information meeting. on March 9th starting at 8:00am in our media center. This All Pro Dads information session is for dads that are interested in helping us kick-off an All Pro Dads chapter at Bexley! Even though this is called All Pro Dads, other parental figures are also included in attending and supporting our chapter. We look forward to seeing you on March 9th at 8:00am in our media center, we call our Rec Center.
On March 9th, from 5:00-6:30pm, we will host a family literacy night called Books & Donuts with Grownups! We hope you will come with your child to learn more about reading and spend time reading outside together while enjoying a donut! Bring your blanket, lawn chair, favorite book and stuffed animal and let’s celebrate literacy and Read Across America together! We hope to see our Bulldogs and our families on March 9th between 5-6:30pm at Bexley.
Don’t forget that spring picture day and Chipotle Spirit Night are on March 7th. Our next HOUSE day is March 8th, the 3rd quarter ends on March 10th and spring break begins the week of March 13th.
We look forward to seeing our Bulldogs, on time, tomorrow morning as we begin another wonderful week of learning at Bexley!
