Hello Bexley Bulldog Families,
Today is 9/11 and I couldn’t go without remembering those lost in our national tragedy in 2001. As a Bexley family, we send our positive thoughts to those that lost love ones on 9/11, years ago.

This week we are excited for learning, the start of the PTO Boosterthon fundraiser, Panera Bread, and our first ever Bexley Family Movie Night!
Also, we’d like to begin with a Big Bulldog thank you to our Platinum sponsor BayCare Medical Group KIDS- located at the Health Hub in Land O Lakes. We appreciate your support!

A friendly reminder that flu shot consent forms went home with students last week and can also be found on our school website. Consents must be returned by Friday, September 16th. Flu Shots will be given on Wednesday, Oct 5th, only to students with a signed consent form.
Starting Monday, you may register for our Fall Boosterthnon Fundraiser on MYBOOSTER.COM!
Our Bexley Elementary School Boosterthon fundraiser will kick off in just 3 weeks on 9/29/22. We will be having a Bulldog Glow Dance-a-thon with a goal to raise $30,000 for shades for the playground & throughout our beautiful campus.
Key dates to remember:
● REGISTRATION OPENS – 9/12/22,register on MYBOOSTER.COM
● Bexley Elementary School Bulldog Dance-a-thon Kick Off – 9/29/22
● Bulldog Dance-a-thon Event Day – 10/7/22
Donations will go toward supporting our school and can be given throughout the entire experience. There is no pressure to give, but we invite you to help our school by sharing our fundraiser with your family and friends! Thank you for supporting Bexley Elementary School through the Bexley Elementary School Boosterthon.

On Tuesday, 9/13, remember to order from Panera Bread and use the code FUND4U when you order online or visit Panera Bread in the Preserve Marketplace to eat lunch or dinner.

On Friday, 9/16, our PTO and Brave Church are sponsoring our very first family movie night. Gates will open at 7:00pm and the Monster University movie will begin at 7:15pm. Bring your lawn chairs or blankets for your family and let’s enjoy movie night together! Please remember that we expect parents to stay at the event and supervise their children to make the most enjoyable evening for our families.
Each of our PTO events will also be opportunities to give back! Bring a pair of children’s shoes or socks to movie night and our PTO will donate these to Two Good Soles and Shoes Sock Drive to be shared with families in need. Popcorn will be served, and Kona Ice will be on campus for purchase. We hope to see you there!

Finally, please help us with these safety reminders. If your child is goes to Hiker/Biker 1, we expect parents waiting to wait behind the Hiker/Biker sign. Our staff is working hard each day to release students to the appropriate adults, and your cooperation will help ensure the safety of all students. At Hiker/Biker 2, we expect parents to stay off of the sidewalk so our staff can also release students safely. Thank you so much for your assistance. We want to get your child to you as quickly and safely as possible.

Last but not least, if your child comes to school in” Heelys” sneakers, or sneakers with wheels, please remind your child to leave his/her wheels at home. We have noticed too many near accidents with these sneakers with wheels on our campus. Thank you for your help!
We hope everyone has a wonderful week and we look forward to seeing our Bulldogs, on time, tomorrow morning!
